The Department of Political Science, Bamanpukur Humayun Kabir Mahavidyalaya offers both major and minor courses for students under the NEP 2020. The papers taught in the department covers Political Theory, Indian Constitution, Party System, International Relations, Public Administration to name a few. It aims to mould students making them true spirited citizens who can make a difference in every walk of life. The faculty of the department is adept in imbuing students with life long skills required in the study of Political Science. The Department takes special care of students who require additional support by providing them with remedial classes as most of them belong to the category of first generation learners. The Department organization annual programs on Ambedkar Jayanti, Constitution Day and International Human Rights Day apart from conducting regular activities and catering to the Best Practices assigned by the Institution.
